Startupbootcamp is the global startup accelerator with 7 programs in Amsterdam, Berlin, Copenhagen, Dublin, Eindhoven and Israel, and a mentor and alumni network in more than 30 countries. Hungarian startup Sighter secured €50,000 investment from Enterprise Ireland’s Competitive Start Fund. The fund is also the gateway to EI’s High Potential Startup Funding. This is the third round of investment for Sighter, raising their funding to €110,000.
Hungarian startup Sighter have been really busy growing their startup over the last 6 months. Back in May they won third place at the Budapest Bank Startup Competition, where their new advisor Sean Murphy gave the presentation. In June they finished Ryan Academy’s Propeller Venture Accelerator programme. The team learned a lot there and gained loads of great contacts in the Irish Ecosystem. The great thing about Excel spreadsheets is that they’re simple, quick to create, and cheap to make and share. But they’re also hard to keep track of, hard to share, and hard to keep current. Startup Sauna held its annual event for the second year in Budapest on September 16, 2013. Meet all the startups that have been selected by the judges to pitch at the event, as well as the winner who gets invited to join the Startup Sauna accelerator.
Startup Sauna returned to Budapest on Monday to scout for local startups. The event started at noon with the pitches of the participating 16 startups. Based on their presentations, the best 10 startups were selected to attend the 1-on-1 coaching sessions.
