Berlin will be hosting the final Seedcamp Week of 2013 during November 18-21. The four day event is aimed at connecting the 20 best startups with leading experts and investors from all across Europe and all over the world. Application closes on October 20.
At the beginning of the year Seedcamp introduced a revised format for joining the programme and it has proven to be a huge success. Startups can meet the Seedcamp Team and receive early feedback at any of the Mini Seedcamp events hosted around Europe on a monthly basis. If a startup is ready to be considered for seed investment than, it can apply directly to one of the quarterly Seedcamp Week events. October 25 marked the first ever Seedcamp event in Hungary, Seedcamp Budapest. In association with the European Entrepreneurship Foundation (EEF) Seedcamp brought 70 of their mentors together to meet 20 of Europe’s top startups. The organisers had a very difficult task selecting only the twenty most promising ideas from the hundreds of applications they received to attend the event. The leading European startup accelerator, Seedcamp, will be holding its first ever Seedcamp startup event in Budapest, taking place in the 4th week of October.
While Seedcamp has been present in Central and Eastern Europe in Ljubljana, Zagreb and Prag, this is the first time it will hold an event in the capital of Hungary – in partnership with the European Entrepreneurship Foundation. After reviewing Antavo during the Seedcamp event in Tel Aviv on March 29, the early-stage mentoring and investment program has invested into the online marketing application company.
Antavo is a software company that is currently in the process of releasing the first version of their online marketing and promotions tool. The Hungarian company is based in Szeged and started work on its primary product in June 2011. Shortly after the launch they attended the Venture Accelerator Course organized by the European Entrepreneurship Foundation, and were later invited to join a major Seedcamp event.
