CEED Tech accelerator group offers €5 million for stratups

CEED Tech, a consortium of Central and Eastern European technology accelerators announced that it had secured €5 Million in grants from the European Commission. The first round of application is open until December 15, with a second call following in 2015.

CEED Tech is a consortium of established software accelerators, specializing in mentorship and investment in high potential, scalable businesses led by proficient founders, helping them to launch fast, and gain further investment. Its members are Startup Yard in Prague, Digital Factory in Budapest, The Spot in Bratislava, Startup Wise Guys in Tallinn, and Open Coffee Club in Vilnius. They have established a current portfolio of nearly 100 companies, working with over 100 investors and 450 mentors from fields relevant to their startups.Read more »

Axel Springer Plug & Play, the Berlin-based accelerator program of the German media giant Axel Springer, is currently accepting applications for its next cycle. The 3-month long programme starts on March 31, the application deadline is February 14.

Berlin-based digital media startup accelerator Axel Springer Plug&Play will start its next program on March 31, with the application process closing in just two weeks on February 14. The three-month program is run twice a year, and provides €25,000 funding, office space in the heart of Berlin, coaching, workshops, and networking events.
