CEED Tech, a consortium of Central and Eastern European technology accelerators announced that it had secured €5 Million in grants from the European Commission. The first round of application is open until December 15, with a second call following in 2015.
CEED Tech is a consortium of established software accelerators, specializing in mentorship and investment in high potential, scalable businesses led by proficient founders, helping them to launch fast, and gain further investment. Its members are Startup Yard in Prague, Digital Factory in Budapest, The Spot in Bratislava, Startup Wise Guys in Tallinn, and Open Coffee Club in Vilnius. Hardware accelerator Buildit has opened a call for its second batch, investing up to 20,000 Euros per team. The 3 month programme starts on 15 September, applications are open until 20 July for hardware startups from across the whole world.
