The team will get $40,000 equity-free investment, office space and mentorship for a six month period. Moreover, the community of the hundreds of entrepreneurs from all around the world offers a unique environment to share, learn and develop together.

After receiving more than 1400 applications during the sixth application period that ended on October 8th, Start-up Chile announced that 105 startup companies have been selected to be part of the world-recognized acceleration program’s sixth generation.

Hungarian startup Brickflow has been selected to participate in the program. Brickflow is an app for developing, discussing and sharing multimedia stories together on a virtual whiteboard. It is the Google Docs for multimedia. The founders of Brickflow are Mihály Borbély, Tamás Kökény and Péter Langmár. Brickflow has already managed to get the pre-seed funding through crowdsourcing (10 000 USD) that was allocated to create the prototype. According to the short term plans Brickflow will be ready with the Public Beta at the end of the program and they will be ready to get an investor. Until then, they are about to launch alpha, which we will roll out in the next days.

Start-up Chile aims to become the hub for entrepreneurship and innovation in Latin America by importing early stage entrepreneurs from all over the world with the initiative Start-Up Chile, an accelerator program fully supported by the Chilean government. The main motivator to head to “the Silicon Valley of Latin America”: the local government provides $40,000 in cash without taking any equity stake.
