SpringTab acquires €24,000 investment by winning at Bbooster Week

Hungarian startup SpringTab won €24,000 direct investment for its project at Bbooster Week held in Vienna during May 24-27. The competition was very tough, runner-ups Tallerator, Billage and Emunicipality gave the jury a hard time deciding on the winner.

Hungarian startup SpringTab won the prize of €24,000 direct investment for its project at Bbooster Week held in Vienna last week. SpringTab is a social data mining tool that helps brands personalize their content publishing, that has impressed the jury with its presentation making it the first winner of this event organized by Bbooster, the only Accelerator Venture Fund regulated in Southern Europe, in collaboration with Pioneers Festival.

After carefully analysing the business potential of the competing finalist, the jury chose Spring Tab as the winner. The competition was very tough, the runner-up projects Tallerator, Billage and Emunicipality gave the jury a hard time deciding on the winner.

During Bbooster Week, the startups received guidance from industry professionals, such as Jean-Baptiste Dumont (Serena Capital), Robert Hegedüs (Fiedler Capital), Tim Van de Heede (IBM) or Enrique Penichet (Bbooster). The four day programme included incubation, training, mentoring, consulting and a financing round. The purpose of the event was to promote the entrepreneurial ecosystem in a different environment on one to one basis, as well as helped by experienced professionals.

Bbooster was founded in 2010 by a team of entrepreneurs and investors, and is focused on startups with an internet based business model. Since its inception, Bbooster has raised two regulated investment funds, and invest on 10 to 15 new technology projects that jump to the market in four months as viable businesses ready to scale. The first prize of €24,000 direct investment comes from Sinensis Seed Capital composed by a group of businessmen involved in the Internet sector and new technologies, with an investment target of 12 million euros.
