TechPeaks is a program of Trento RISE – the organization that connects several of the major actors in ICT research, education and business in the Trento region in collaboration with Trentino Sviluppo. TechPeaks is a long-term initiative, set up and funded for 4 years with 13 million Euros.
Currently TechPeaks is on an European tour, and will be arriving to Budapest on January 15 for the Tech Peaks Pitch Slam to present their acceleration program. The application session for the program’s spring batch is now open and the deadline is closing in: January 20, 2014.
The TechPeaks program is designed for individuals, but it also consolidates teams with business ideas and even without an idea. They are open to all international talents with a strong background in IT. Another thing to remember is that the program does not take any equity from entrepreneurs neither for joining the acceleration program, nor for receiving a cash grant from the Trentino region.
The program's team of mentors includes professionals such as Renaud Visage (CTO & Co-founder of Eventbrite), Jeremiah Robison (VP Software at Jawbone), Matt Meeker (Co-founder of Meetup.com and Barkbox.com), Trevor Owens (CEO of Lean Startup Machine), James Currier (Entrepreneur and investor in Silicon Valley), and many others.
So, if you are hacker, designer or entrepreneur with experience in product and business development, this might be a great place for you. TechPeaks is looking for bright minds who are team players with personal traits such as responsibility, flexibility, self-motivation and leadership.
